ਡੈਸਕ- ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੀ ਚੋਣ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਰਾਕ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਵਿੱਚ 45 ਘੰਟੇ ਲੰਬਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤਿਰੂਵਨੰਤਪੁਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਭਗਵਤੀ ਅੱਮਾਨ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਕ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਧਿਆਨ 1 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਰਾਕ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਡਪਮ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਰਾਮਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪਰਮਹੰਸ, ਮਾਤਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਰਦਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਆਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਮੰਡਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚੀ ਚੌਂਕੀ ‘ਤੇ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੈ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਮੰਡਪਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸਿਵਾਗੰਗਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਕੇ ਅੰਨਾਮਲਾਈ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦੀ ਫੇਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਦੌਰਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਦੌਰਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਤੇ ਵਰਕਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਏ। 1 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਥਿਤ ਤਿਰੂਵੱਲੂਵਰ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਮਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ 133-ਫੁੱਟ-ਉੱਚੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਲੱਗ-ਥਲੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਟਿੱਲੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮਦੁਰਾਈ ‘ਚ ਥੰਥਾਈ ਪੇਰੀਆਰ ਦ੍ਰਾਵਿੜ ਕੜਗਮ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲੇ ਝੰਡਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ‘ਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। 1 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਖ਼ਰੀ (ਸੱਤਵੇਂ) ਪੜਾਅ ਦੀ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਣ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
