ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਕਰੀਬ 12 ਸਾਲ ਛੋਟੀ ਕੋਰੀਓਗ੍ਰਾਫਰ ਪੋਨੀ ਵਰਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਜਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 1994 ‘ਚ ਲਲਿਤਾ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਦੋਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਲਾਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਪੋਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਸੀ। ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪੋਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਿਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ 2010 ‘ਚ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ।
