ਕੋਝੀਕੋਡ (ਕੇਰਲ) : ਸਥਾਨਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਝੀਕੋਡ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦੂਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਵੂਰ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਪਾਹ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਦੀ ਲਾਗ ਨਾਲ 12 ਸਾਲਾ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਘਾਤਕ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਦੇ ਫੈਲਣ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਕੋਝੀਕੋਡ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਫੈਲਣ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਨਿਪਾਹ ਵਾਰਡ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੋਰ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਮਾਹਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵਿਤ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਜਿੱਥੇ 1 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਅਲਰਟ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮਾਵੂਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਓਮਸਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਚੌਕਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਸਤ ਵਿਚ ਬੁਖਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਡਾਕਟਰੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਲਈ ਉੱਥੇ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਹਤ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੱਠਮੰਗਲਮ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਦੇ ਪਜ਼ਹੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਯਾਰਕੁਜ਼ੀ, ਕੁਲੀਮਾਦ, ਪੁਥੀਆਦਮ ਵਾਰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਵਾਰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਸ਼ਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸਿਹਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਖਾਰ, ਉਲਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੱਲਪੁਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਨੂਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
