Punjab reports 25 COVID-19 Deaths; 890 New Cases in last 24 hours

CHANDIGARH, OCTOBER 10: With 890 new coronavirus (or COVID-19) cases and 25 more deaths in Punjab in the last 24 hours, the state’s cases count has reached 1,23,317 and death toll to 3,798, according to media health bulletin on Saturday.

According to state’s COVID bulletin, 125 cases were reported from SAS Nagar; 109 from Gurdaspur; 77 from Jalandhar; 69 from Amritsar; 68 from Bathinda; 54 from Patiala; 48 from Pathankot; 43 from Ludhiana; 40 from Hoshiarpur; 32 from Kapurthala; 31 from Fazilka; 30 from Ferozepur; 28 from Ropar; 25 from Mansa; 22 from Muktsar; 20 from Faridkot; 16 from Sangrur; 15 from Moga; 13 from Fatehgarh Sahib; 11 from Barnala; 10 from Tarn Taran; and 8 from SBS Nagar.

The sources of 2 positive cases of coronavirus were out of Punjab.

There are 9,752 active cases of coronavirus in the state, says the bulletin.

Meanwhile, 1,234 more patients cured and were discharged, taking the state’s recovery toll to 1,09,767.
