Punjab reports 29 COVID-19 Deaths; 511 New Cases in last 24 hours

CHANDIGARH, OCTOBER 15: With 511 new coronavirus (or COVID-19) cases and 29 more deaths in Punjab in the last 24 hours, the state’s cases count has reached 1,26,230 and death toll to 3,954, according to media health bulletin on Thursday.

According to state’s COVID bulletin, 81 cases were reported from Ludhiana; 66 from SAS Nagar; 64 from Jalandhar; 35 from Amritsar; 33 from Gurdaspur; 32 from Patiala and Hoshiarpur; 29 from Bathinda; 16 from Pathankot; 15 from Faridkot; 13 from Ropar; 12 each from Muktsar and Fazilka; 10 each from Barnala and Tarn Taran; 9 from Fatehgarh Sahib; 8 from Sangrur; 7 from Ferozepur; 5 each from Kapurthala and Mansa; 4 from SBS Nagar; and 3 from Moga.

There are 7,090 active cases of coronavirus in the state, says the bulletin.

Meanwhile, 1,111 more patients cured and were discharged, taking the state’s recovery toll to 1,15,186.
