COVID-19: Punjab reports 31 more deaths, 802 new cases

CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 18: Punjab reported 802 new cases and 31 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s cases of coronavirus infection to 143,395 while the death toll climbed to 4,541.

Of deaths reported in last 24 hours, six were reported in Jalandhar, five in Ludhiana, three each in Sangrur and Hoshiarpur, two each in Fazilka, Muktsar and Bathinda, and one each in Amritsar, Barnala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mansa, Mohali and Pathankot.

According to the health bulletin, 134 people were tested positive in Mohali, 108 in Patiala, 85 in Ludhiana, 55 in Amritsar and 54 in Hoshiarpur. While 43 people were found infected in Bathinda, 39 in Gurdaspur, 37 in Fazilka, 27 in Faridkot, 21 in Ropar, 20 in Pathankot, 17 in Muktsar, 13 in Fatehgarh Sahib, 11 in Sangrur, 10 in Nawanshahr, nine in Mansa, seven in Kapurthala, six in Ferozepur and three each in Moga, Barnala and Tarn Taran.
