Punjab reports 34 COVID-19 Deaths; 692 New Cases in last 24 hours

CHANDIGARH, OCTOBER 13: With 692 new coronavirus (or COVID-19) cases and 34 more deaths in Punjab in the last 24 hours, the state’s case count has reached 1,25,211 and death toll to 3,894, according to media health bulletin on Tuesday.

According to state’s COVID bulletin, 103 cases were reported from Ludhiana; 95 from Jalandhar; 57 each from SAS Nagar and Amritsar; 55 from Bathinda; 44 from Patiala; 41 from Hoshiarpur; 40 from Gurdaspur; 29 from Muktsar; 28 from Ropar; 20 from Kapurthala; 18 each from Tarn Taran and Fazilka; 15 each from Ferozepur and Faridkot; 14 from SBS Nagar; 12 each from Fatehgarh Sahib and Sangrur; 7 from Pathankot; 5 from Mansa; 4 from Moga; and 3 from Barnala;

There are 8,212 active cases of coronavirus in the state, says the bulletin.

Meanwhile, 1,006 more patients cured and were discharged, taking the state’s recovery toll to 1,13,105.
