ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਡਰ-19 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਨੇ ਰਣਜੀ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਟੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖਰਾਬ ਫਿਟਨੈੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਚੋਣਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਖੱਬੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਅਖਿਲ ਹੇਰਵਾਡਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 41 ਰਣਜੀ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡੇ ਹਨ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਨੇ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿੰਕਯ ਰਹਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਰਣਜੀ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਮੈਚ ਲਈ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਤੀਜਾ ਮੈਚ ਤ੍ਰਿਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਖੇਡਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਖੇਡੇ ਗਏ 2 ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਹਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ। 42 ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਣਜੀ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਨੇ ਬੜੌਦਾ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਹਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨੂੰ 9 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅੰਕ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਾਤਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਏਲੀਟ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਏ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ। ਚੋਣਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ 24 ਸਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖਰਾਬ ਫਿਟਨੈੱਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੋਣਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਾਅ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਤੋੜਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਫਸ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
ਸ਼ਾਅ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਟੀਮ ‘ਚ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤਨੁਸ਼ ਕੋਟੀਅਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੌਰੇ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਏ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ‘ਤੇ 28 ਸਾਲਾ ਕਰਸ਼ ਕੋਠਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਬਜ਼ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸੰਜੇ ਪਾਟਿਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੀ 5 ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਇਕ ਮੈਚ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਸਬਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਫਿਟਨੈੱਸ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।
ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਜਲਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਅਗਲੇ ਮੈਚ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਟੀਮ ‘ਚ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਚੋਣਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਮੈਚ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਛੱਡਣਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬਕ ਸਿਖਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਨੈੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਸੈਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਗਾਇਬ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਗਿਆ।
