ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਾਲ 1996 ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਕਸ਼ੈ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਰਵੀਨਾ ਟੰਡਨ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਟ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਦੋਵੇਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸਨ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਚੋਰੀ-ਛਿਪੇ ਸਗਾਈ ਕਰ ਲਈ। ਰਵੀਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਖਾ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਖਿਲਾੜੀਓਂ ਕਾ ਖਿਲਾੜੀ’ ਚ ਅਕਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿ-ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ‘ਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਈਆਂ ਸਨ।ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ 41 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਰੇਖਾ ਨੂੰ 28 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅਕਸ਼ੈ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ‘ਚ ਰਵੀਨਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਰਿਲੇਸ਼ਨਸ਼ਿਪ ‘ਚ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਅਕਸ਼ੈ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਂਡਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੀ ਪਰ ਅਕਸ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੈਂਡਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਰਵੀਨਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ‘ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਕਿ ਅਕਸ਼ੈ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦਾ ਰੇਖਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਲੈਣਾ-ਦੇਣਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਕਸ਼ੈ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਭੱਜਦੇ ਸਨ।’
