ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੰਘ?
2 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2003 ਨੂੰ ਅਯੁੱਧਿਆ, ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮੇ, 19 ਸਾਲਾ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਇਮਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦ ਕੈਮਬ੍ਰੀਅਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਹਰਾਦੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਐਵੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੋਅ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਕ ਐਪੀਸੋਡ ‘ਚ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਇਕਲੌਤਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਪਨ ‘ਚ ਗੋਦ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਤੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਕਰਨ।
ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ
ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। 2019 ਵਿੱਚ, ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਆਈਡਲ ਦੇ 11ਵੇਂ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਚੌਥੇ ਦੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗਾਇਕੀ ਦੀ ਤਾਰੀਫ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ‘ਤੇ ਫਾਲੋ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਰਿਤਿਕ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮਈ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ, ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਿੰਗਲ ਗੀਤ ‘ਇਲਤੇਜ਼ਾ ਮੇਰੀ’ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਗੀਤ ਮੇਲੋਡੀਅਸ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
