ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ‘ਚ ਅਜੇ 1 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ, ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਣਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹਾਰਦਿਕ ਪੰਡਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਟੀ-20 ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ਸੌਂਪਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦੋ ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ‘ਚ ਅਸਫਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਚੋਣਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਲਗਭਗ ਸਾਫ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ 2024 ਦੇ ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ‘ਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਚ ਉਤਾਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਐੱਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਟੀ-20 ‘ਚ ਘੱਟ ਹੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ੁਭਮਨ ਗਿੱਲ ਆਲ ਫਾਰਮੈਟ ਦੇ ਓਪਨਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਭਰਿਆ ਹੈ। IPL 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਯਸ਼ਸਵੀ ਜੈਸਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਧਮਾਕੇਦਾਰ ਖੇਡ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਓਪਨਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

KL ਰਾਹੁਲ ਪੱਟ ਦੀ ਸੱਟ ਕਾਰਨ IPL ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਖੇਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਂਗਲ ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਰਹੀ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਨੇ 9 ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ 113 ਦੀ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਨਾਲ 274 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਟੀ-20 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਬਦਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, 113 ਦੀ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਇੱਕ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਮਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ।

ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਵਨਡੇ ‘ਚ ਫਾਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਆਈਪੀਐਲ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ 11 ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 17 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਅਤੇ 124 ਦੇ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਨਾਲ 191 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਯਸ਼ਸਵੀ ਜੈਸਵਾਲ ਨੇ IPL 2023 ਵਿੱਚ 11 ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 52 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਅਤੇ 167 ਦੇ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਨਾਲ 575 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਾਅਵੇਦਾਰੀ ਜਤਾਈ ਹੈ। ਯਸ਼ਸਵੀ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 13 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਜੜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਪਾਵਰਪਲੇ ‘ਚ ਤੇਜ਼ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਵਰਪਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ 179 ਦੀ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਨਾਲ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਚੋਣਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੁਭਮਨ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਵੀ 47 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਅਤੇ 144 ਦੇ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਰੇਟ ਨਾਲ 469 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
