ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ- ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਚੋਣ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਐਮੀਨੈਸ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ । ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਇਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ ਐਮੀਨੈੱਸ ਦੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਯੋਜਨਾਬੰਦੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਹ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋ ਹਫਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੀ ”ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ ਐਮੀਨੈੱਸ” ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ।
ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਪੱਧਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਅੰਤਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਰ ਹਫਤੇ ਡਿਜਾਈਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਗ-ਰੋਗਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਆਰਕੀਟੈਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਗੇੜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ 100 ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਐਮੀਨੈਸ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਬਲਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਕੂਲ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਬਣਨਗੇ। ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਣ ਦੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਿੱੱਜੀ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦੀ ਸਿੱੱਖਿਆ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਦੇ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕਸਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱੱਡਣਗੇ।
