ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ 2022 ਦੇ ਸੈਮੀਫਾਈਨਲ ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਮਿਲੀ ਹਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਕੋਚ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦ੍ਰਾਵਿੜ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਦ੍ਰਾਵਿੜ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦੌਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕੋਚ ਰਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦਿੱਗਜ ਸਪਿਨਰ ਰਵੀਚੰਦਰਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਫਟਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਯੂਟਿਊਬ ਚੈਨਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਲਕਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਕਿਉਂ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦ੍ਰਾਵਿੜ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਹਰ ਟੀਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਥੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰੇਕ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਦੌਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਲਕਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਕੋਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਹੈ।
