ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀ ਦੇਸਾਈ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ 17 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਬ੍ਰੇਕ ਏਕਤਾ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਕਸਮ ਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀ ਰਾਤੋ-ਰਾਤ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੋੜੀ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਟੀਵੀ ਐਕਟਰ ਰਾਮ ਕਪੂਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ‘ਚ ਕਰੀਬ 15 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਫਰਕ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਜੋੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਬ ਤਾਰੀਫ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ 3 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ।

ਸੀਰੀਅਲ ‘ਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀ ਦੇਸਾਈ ਨੇ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੇ ਜੈ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ‘ਚ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਇਕ ਕਿਸਿੰਗ ਸੀਨ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕਾਫੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਦੌਰ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਟੀਵੀ ‘ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਿੰਟ ਦਾ ਸੀਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ 17 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਇਸ ਸੀਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੈਡੋ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਈਟਸ ਦੀ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਲਮਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮਾਉਣ ‘ਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਲੱਗ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ‘ਤੇ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਹੰਗਾਮਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲਿਆ
ਟੀਵੀ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀ ਟੀਵੀ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਰਿਐਲਿਟੀ ਡਾਂਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਝਲਕ ਦਿਖਲਾ ਜਾ 2 ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਦੀ ਜੇਤੂ ਰਹੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਟੀਵੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਕੁਝ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲ ਸਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਰਾਕ ਆਨ, ਵਨਸ ਅਪੌਨ ਏ ਟਾਈਮ ਇਨ ਮੁੰਬਈ, ਬੋਲ ਬੱਚਨ, ਅਜ਼ਹਰ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਖਾ ਸਕਿਆ।
