ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧੇਗਾ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਦਾ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ
ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ – ਰੇਸ਼ਮੀ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਸਿਲਕ ਸਮਗਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੰਢੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਖਾਲੀ ਪਈ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਧਾਰ ਬਲਾਕ ਵਿਚ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਦਾ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਜੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਧਨ ਬਣੇਗਾ ।
ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਰਮਸੋਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 3.6 ਕਰੋੜ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਇਹ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਸਿਲਕ ਬੋਰਡ, ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਟੈਕਸਟਾਈਲ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ 26 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2021 ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਧਾਰ ਬਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਪਿੰਡ ਭਾਵ ਦੁਰੰਗ ਖੜ, ਫੰਗਤੋਲੀ, ਬਢਾਨ, ਸਮਾਣੂ / ਜੰਗਹਾਥ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਭਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਤੂਤ ਦੇ 37500 ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਗੌਰਤਲਬ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਤੂਤ ਦੇ ਪੱਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਉਪਲਬਧਤਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਇਨਾਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 116 ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਨਾਂ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਿਲਕ ਬੋਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਗਬਾਨੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਰੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਹਾਊਸਿਜ਼, ਰੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਉਪਕਰਣਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਆਦਿ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ.ਬੀ. ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਪਿ੍ਰੰਸੀਪਲ ਚੀਫ ਕੰਜਰਵੇਟਰ ਆਫ਼ ਫਾਰੈਸਟ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਨਤਾਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਲਕਿ ਉੱਤਰ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਿਥੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਰਕਬਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਦੇ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਜ਼ਮੀਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਮਾਂਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਵਣ ਮੰਡਲ ਦੇ ਧਾਰ ਬਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਗਰੁੱਪਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਿਲਕ ਕੋਕੂਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਰਕੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਅੰਤਰ ਸੀ। ਕੰਜ਼ਰਵੇਟਰ ਆਫ਼ ਫੋਰੈਸਟ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਚੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨ ਲਈ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਤਪਾਦਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਧੀਆ ਮੁੱਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ।
