ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਯਾਦਵ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਟੀ-20 ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਟੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੂਰਿਆ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਖੇਡੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 36 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ‘ਚ 5 ਚੌਕਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ 3 ਛੱਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 56 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਦਾ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਾਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੂਰਿਆ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਦਾ 16 ਸਾਲ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਟੀ-20 ਕਪਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਗਕਬਰਹਾ ਦੇ ਸੇਂਟ ਜਾਰਜ ਪਾਰਕ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ‘ਚ ਖੇਡੇ ਗਏ ਦੂਜੇ ਟੀ-20 ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਆਪਣੇ ਟੀ-20 ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦਾ 17ਵਾਂ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ। ਸੂਰਿਆ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਟੀ-20 ਕਪਤਾਨ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ 2007 ‘ਚ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ 45 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਖੇਡੀ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਟੀ-20 ‘ਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਸੀ। ਕਪਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੌਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਧਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ 36 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਖੇਡੀ ਸੀ।

ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਟੀ-20 ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਟੀ-20 ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀਆਂ 2000 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ। ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਫਾਰਮੈਟ ‘ਚ ਨੰਬਰ ਇਕ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਬਜ਼ ਸੂਰਿਆ ਟੀ-20 ‘ਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ 2000 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 56 ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਟੀ-20 ਦੌੜਾਂ 56 ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਬਾਬਰ ਆਜ਼ਮ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਰਿਜ਼ਵਾਨ ਨੇ 52-52 ਪਾਰੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
