ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੈ। ਵੈਸੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਵਣ ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੋਨੇ-ਕੋਨੇ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪੂਜਾ ਅਰਚਨਾ ‘ਚ ਰੁੱਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ, ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਾਸਤੂ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਦੇ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਆਓ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਸ਼ੂਪਤੀਨਾਥ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੇਪਾਲ
ਨੇਪਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਪਸ਼ੂਪਤੀਨਾਥ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਥਿਹਾਸਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਕੋਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ‘ਚ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਾਠਮੰਡੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਾਗਮਤੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਇੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਖਣ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਭੱਟ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਜਾ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨੇਪਾਲੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਕਦੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਯੋਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ।
ਮੁਨੇਸ਼ਵਰਮ ਮੰਦਿਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ
ਮੁਨੇਸ਼ਵਰਮ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਰਾਮਾਇਣ ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਥਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਥੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਭੋਲੇਨਾਥ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਮੁਨੇਸ਼ਵਰਮ ਮੰਦਰ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜ ਮੰਦਰ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੈ।
ਅਰੁਲਮਿਗੂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਰਾਜਾ ਕਲਿਆਮਨ ਮੰਦਿਰ, ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ
ਅਰੁਲਮਿਗੂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਰਾਜਾ ਕਾਲਿਅਮਨ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਸਾਲ 1922 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਦੀ ਆਰਕੀਟੈਕਚਰ ਕਾਫੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਜੋਹਰ ਬਾਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਕੱਚ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ‘ਤੇ 3,00,000 ਰੁਦਰਾਕਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਲਾ ਜੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ, ਜ਼ਿਊਰਿਖ, ਸਵਿਟਜ਼ਰਲੈਂਡ
ਜ਼ਿਊਰਿਖ ‘ਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਾਫੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਵਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਟਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਾਰਵਤੀ ਵੀ ਬਿਰਾਜਮਾਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਵਰਾਤਰੀ ਧੂਮਧਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ, ਆਕਲੈਂਡ, ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ
ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ‘ਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਾਫੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਚਾਰੀਆ ਮਹਾਮੰਡਲੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਸ਼ਿਵੇਂਦਰ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਯੱਗੀ ਬਾਬਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ‘ਚ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨਵਦੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਸ਼ਿਵਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਲਈ 2004 ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
