ਜਲੰਧਰ : ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੈਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਆਰਟ ਆਫ਼ ਲਿਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਸੁਮੀਤ ਜਾਰੰਗਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਈ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਜ) ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਜੜ੍ਹੋਂ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਠੋਸ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡੈਪੋ, ਬੱਡੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਹੁ-ਪੱਖੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਅਪਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਡਰੱਗ ਅਬਿਊਸ ਪ੍ਰੀਵੈਂਸ਼ਨ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੈੱਡ ਸਕਾਈ ਤਹਿਤ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ 520 ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ 58 ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜਦਕਿ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ 98 ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਧਾਰਾ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਚ 23000 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਡੈਪੋ ਐਨਰੋਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਰਟ ਆਫ਼ ਲਿਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦੇ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
