ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡ ਨਿਯਮ: ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਇਸਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਰਿਆਸ਼ੀਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੁਣ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਿਮ ਲਈ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿਯਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹੈ। ਦੂਰਸੰਚਾਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ (DoT) ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦੋ ਸਰਕੂਲਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਨਵਾਂ ਨਿਯਮ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਥੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੁਕਾਨ ‘ਤੇ 10 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਦੂਰਸੰਚਾਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯਮ 1 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਟੈਲੀਕਾਮ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 30 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਆਫ ਸੇਲ (ਪੀਓਐਸ) ਨੂੰ ਰਜਿਸਟਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਨਿਯਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਟੈਲੀਕਾਮ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ। ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
