ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਟੋਕੀਓ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਗਦ ਇਨਾਮ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਮੌਕੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰਾਹ ਪੱਧਰਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਨਿਯਮ, 1988 ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ 3 ਵਿਚ ਸੋਧ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਯਮ 3 ਏ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ, ਏਸ਼ਿਆਈ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਕੋਟੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯਮ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ, ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ/ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪਾਂ (ਫੀਫਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਫੁਟਬਾਲ, ਆਈ.ਏ.ਏ.ਐਫ. ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ, ਫੀਬਾ ਬਾਸਕਟਬਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ, ਵਾਲੀਬਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ ਤੇ ਹਾਕੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੱਪ), ਏਸ਼ਿਆਈ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਮਗੇ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਟੇਟ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਵਿਸਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
