ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਾਸ ਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਆਈ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਲਾਇਨਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਲਕਰਤਨੇ ਦਿਲਸ਼ਾਨ (5) ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਝਟਕਾ ਲੱਗਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਾਮਰਾਨ ਅਕਮਲ ਨੇ ਉਪੁਲ ਥਰੰਗਾ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ 39 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਜੋੜੀਆਂ। ਅਕਮਲ 25 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਆਊਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਥਰੰਗਾ ਨੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮਿਸਬਾਹ-ਉਲ-ਹੱਕ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ 54 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਕੋਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ।
ਥਰੰਗਾ 46 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ‘ਚ 7 ਚੌਕਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ 2 ਛੱਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 66 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਆਊਟ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਦਕਿ ਮਿਸਬਾਹ ਨੇ 5 ਚੌਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 44 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਖੇਡੀ। ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਟੀਮ ਲਈ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਗੋਨੀ ਨੇ 3 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ, ਜਦਕਿ ਇਰਫਾਨ ਪਠਾਨ ਨੇ 2 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।

ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 34 ਦੇ ਸਕੋਰ ਤੱਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਗੁਆ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਕੈਫ ਨੇ ਯੂਸਫ ਪਠਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਚੌਥੀ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਦੀ ਲੀਹ ‘ਤੇ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ। ਯੂਸਫ ਨੇ 40 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਛੱਕਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਂ ਚੌਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 80 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, ਜਦਕਿ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਕੈਫ ਨੇ ਅਜੇਤੂ 42 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਖੇਡੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ 176 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਪੰਜ ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਇਰਫਾਨ ਪਠਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਓਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 3 ਚੌਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ 21 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਲਾਇਨਜ਼ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੋਏਬ ਅਖਤਰ ਨੇ 21 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਉਮਰ ਗੁਲ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ।
