ਲਾਓਸ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਟੀਕਾਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਦਾਖਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਓਸ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਦੱਖਣ-ਪੂਰਬੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਰਮਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਕਮੀ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਮੁੜ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਲ 2020 ‘ਚ ਲਾਓਸ ‘ਚ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ‘ਚ 80 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਦੌਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਾਖਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਆ ਸਕਣ।
ਸਾਲ 2021 ‘ਚ ਇਸ ਛੋਟੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ‘ਚ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ 4.7 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਨਵਰੀ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਲਾਓਸ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਟੈਸਟ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਆਰੰਟੀਨ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਟੀਕਾਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਟੀਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 48 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੈਪਿਡ ਐਂਟੀਜੇਨ ਟੈਸਟ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਿਖਾਉਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ।
