ਨਵਾਂ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁੰਮ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਰੀ ਹੋਏ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਟਰੈਕ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੂਰਸੰਚਾਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ (DoT India) ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਹੈਂਡਲ ਤੋਂ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਦੂਰਸੰਚਾਰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨੀ ਵੈਸ਼ਨਵ 17 ਮਈ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਸੰਚਾਰਸਾਥੀ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਸਿਰਫ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਸਰਕਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਟੈਲੀਕਾਮ ਸਰਕਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਗੁੰਮ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਰੀ ਹੋਏ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਰੈਕ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
