ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਮਹਿਲ 150 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ, ਕੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ?
ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਖਾਸ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਇਰਰਾਮ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ, ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਿਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ, ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤੇਲੰਗਾਨਾ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਹੁਤ ਖਾਸ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਾਲ 1870 ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਰਿਆਸਤ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਰਈਸ ਨਵਾਬ ਸਫਦਰ ਜੰਗ ਮੁਸ਼ੀਰ-ਉਦ-ਦੌਲਾ ਫਖਰੂਲ ਮੁਲਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਮਹਿਲ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਘਟੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਤਾਂ ਆਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।
ਇਰਮ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ?
ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸ਼ਮੀਉਦੀਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇਹ ਹਵੇਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਹਾੜੀ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਲ ਤੇਲਗੂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਰਾਗੱਡਾ ਯਾਨੀ ਰੈੱਡ ਹਿੱਲ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਵਾਬ ਫਖਰੂਲ ਮੁਲਕ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਹਿਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਇਰਮ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੁਝ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਇਰਰਾਮ ਜਾਂ ਇਰਮ (ايرام) ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਫਾਰਸੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਸਵਰਗ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਇਰਮ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਲਾਲ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਮਹਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਲ ਰੰਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਨਵਾਬ ਦਾ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮਹਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ-ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਕੁਲੀਨ ਵਰਗ ਲਈ ਇਰਮ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਤੇਲਗੂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਰਮ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ।

ਦਾਨਿਸ਼ ਮੁਜਤਬਾ ਨੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ 18 ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਜੀਬ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਮਹਿਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਇਕਾਂਤ ਇਸ ਮਹਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਹੱਸਮਈ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਸੰਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਰਮ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਅਨੋਖਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਪੂਰਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
