ਅਣਜਾਣ ਕਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ, ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ, Truecaller ਨੂੰ ਡਾਊਨਲੋਡ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਕਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਦੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ Truecaller ਐਪ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਾਲ ਸਪੈਮ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਾਣਨ ਲਈ ਟਰੂ ਕਾਲਰ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਟੈਲੀਕਾਮ ਰੈਗੂਲੇਟਰੀ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ (TRAI) ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਇਕ ਫਰੇਮਵਰਕ ਬਣਾਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਚ ਕਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ KYC ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਨਾਂ ਮੋਬਾਇਲ ਦੀ ‘ਸਕਰੀਨ’ ‘ਤੇ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਟਰਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ‘ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦੂਰਸੰਚਾਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ (ਡਾਟ) ਤੋਂ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਟਰਾਈ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਪੀਡੀ ਵਾਘੇਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਫਰੇਮਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚਰਚਾ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਣੇ ਹੀ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੇਵਾਈਸੀ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਨਾਮ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਦੀ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ‘ਤੇ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਕੰਮ ਜਲਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ
ਟਰਾਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਫਰੇਮਵਰਕ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ DoT ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਲਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਵਾਘੇਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਫਰੇਮਵਰਕ ਦੂਰਸੰਚਾਰ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦੂਰਸੰਚਾਰ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਕੇਵਾਈਸੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਏਗਾ।”
ਇਹ ਵਿਧੀ ਕਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੇਵਾਈਸੀ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਪਛਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਜਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਐਪਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਲਿਆਵੇਗੀ।
