ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਯਾਦਵ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ 187 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਮਾਂਚਕ ਟੀਚੇ ਦੇ ਆਰਕੀਟੈਕਟ ਸਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਟੀ-20 ਆਈ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ 104 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ 36 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 69 ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ 48 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 63 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੈਚ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਿਆਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਖੂਬ ਤਾਰੀਫ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਸੂਰਿਆ ਕੋਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ‘ਚ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ. ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਰੇ ‘ਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਾਂਪਾ ਇਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਲਈ ਹਿੱਟ ਕਰਨ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਗਲਤ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸੀ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਗੇਂਦ ‘ਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਾਟ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ। ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਕੱਪ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੇਡ ਦਾ ਕਾਫੀ ਆਨੰਦ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਜਿਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ 1-1.5 ਘੰਟੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
