ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਸਚਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਫਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ, ਮਾਸਟਰ ਬਲਾਸਟਰ ਨੇ ਮੁੜ ਕਿਉਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਵਾਪਸ?
ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਸਚਿਨ ਤੇਂਦੁਲਕਰ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਸਚਿਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦਾ ਆਖਰੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਵਾਨਖੇੜੇ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਚ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਿਸ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਢੇ ‘ਤੇ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ‘ਚ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਸਚਿਨ ਨੇ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖਾਸ ਤੋਹਫਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ‘ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਦੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ’ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
24 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਚਿਨ ਤੇਂਦੁਲਕਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਖੁਦ ਬਿਆਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸਚਿਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਸ ਤੋਹਫਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਇੱਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਾਗਾ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਸਚਿਨ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਧਾਗਾ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ‘ਚ ਗ੍ਰਾਹਮ ਬੈਨਸਿੰਗਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਚਿਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਇਕ ਕੋਨੇ ‘ਚ ਸਿਰ ‘ਤੇ ਤੌਲੀਆ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹੰਝੂ ਪੂੰਝ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਾਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਹਫੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।ਸਚਿਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਧਾਗਾ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਸੀ।
48 ਸਾਲਾ ਸਚਿਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕਿਹਾ- ‘ਇਹ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੀ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਰਹੇਗੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਪਲ ਸੀ, ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਜੋ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ, ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਸਚਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੋਲ ਮਾਡਲ ਹੈ। ਸਚਿਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ‘ਚ 100 ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਟੈਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਵਨਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਹਨ। ਉਸਨੇ 1989 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ 2013 ਤੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਲਈ ਖੇਡਿਆ।
