‘ਵਿਰਾਟ ਸੈਨਾ’ ਨੇ ਰਚਿਆ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ, ਸੈਂਚੁਰੀਅਨ ‘ਚ ਟੈਸਟ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਏਸ਼ਿਆਈ ਟੀਮ
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚ ‘ਚ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਨੂੰ 5ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ 113 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਕੇਐੱਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਦੀ ਬਦੌਲਤ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ 327 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਰੀ 197 ਦੌੜਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸਮੇਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਪਾਰੀ ‘ਚ 174 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਈ 305 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਟੀਚੇ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਉਤਰੀ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ 191 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਣਾ ਸਕੀ। ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ 3 ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ‘ਚ ਵੀ 1-0 ਦੀ ਬੜ੍ਹਤ ਬਣਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਰਚਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਚੁਰੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਸਪੋਰਟਪਾਰਕ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਏਸ਼ਿਆਈ ਟੀਮ ਵੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਤੇ 2 ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡੇ ਪਰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਸੈਂਚੁਰੀਅਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ (2000 ਅਤੇ 2016) ਅਤੇ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਹੀ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫ਼ਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੌਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੈਂਚੁਰੀਅਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਇੱਕ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਪਰ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੀ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਹਾਰ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਰਾਹੁਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ
ਭਾਰਤ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਐਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ 123 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 260 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ 17 ਚੌਕੇ, 1 ਛੱਕਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ। ਰਾਹੁਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਯੰਕ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ (60) ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ 117 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਜੋੜੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਅਜਿੰਕਿਆ ਰਹਾਣੇ ਨੇ 48 ਅਤੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ 35 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ। ਫਿਰ ਲੁੰਗੀ ਐਨਗਿਡੀ ਨੇ 71 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ 6 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਜਦਕਿ ਕਾਗਿਸੋ ਰਬਾਡਾ ਨੇ 3 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਾਰੀ ‘ਚ ਸਿਰਫ ਤੇਂਬਾ ਬਾਵੁਮਾ ਹੀ ਦਮਦਾਰ ਖੇਡ ਸਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ 52 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸ਼ਮੀ ਨੇ 44 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ 5 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ।
