ਰਾਏਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਕਿਲਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ 820 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਰਾਏਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਚੰਦਰਾਓ ਮੋਰਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ 1030 ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਇਰੀ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੰਨ 1656 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ ਛਤਰਪਤੀ ਸ਼ਿਵਾਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਨਵੀਨੀਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਰਾਏਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ ਛਤਰਪਤੀ ਸ਼ਿਵਾਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪਾਲੀ ਗਈ ਹਿੰਦਵੀ ਸਵਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਛਾਪ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਖੰਡਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਵੇਰੇ 8 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਫੀਸ ਹੈ।
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵੀ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ ਖੰਡਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਲ ਤੋਂ 3400 ਫੁੱਟ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਨੈਸਕੋ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ ਪੁਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ 52 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ 18ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਛਤਰਪਤੀ ਸ਼ਿਵਾਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਸਨ। ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜੈਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵਨੇਰੀ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ
ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਜੈਗੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵਨੇਰੀ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੈਗੜ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਕਿਲਾ ਹੁਣ ਖੰਡਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ ਇੱਕ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ 16ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜਾਪੁਰ ਸਲਤਨਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਰਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜੈਗੜ੍ਹ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁੰਮ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ਿਵਨੇਰੀ ਕਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਣੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਤਿਕੋਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕਈ ਮਸਜਿਦਾਂ, ਤਾਲਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਕਬਰਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਕਿਲਾ 300 ਮੀਟਰ ਉੱਚੀ ਪਹਾੜੀ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਂ ਜੀਜਾਬਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਿਵਾਜੀ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਇਸ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
