ਵਾਇਨਾਡ ‘ਚ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਿਸਕਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 175 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ, ਕਈ ਲਾਪਤਾ, ਬਚਾਅ ਕਾਰਜ ਜਾਰੀ
ਡੈਸਕ- ਕੇਰਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਇਨਾਡ ‘ਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਿਸਕਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 175 ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ। 131 ਲੋਕ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ 220 ਲਾਪਤਾ ਦੱਸੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੁੰਡਾਕਾਈ, ਚੂਰਲਮਾਲਾ, ਅੱਟਾਮਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਨੂਲਪੁਝਾ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ‘ਚ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਤੜਕੇ 2 ਵਜੇ ਅਤੇ 4 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਿਸਕਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਪਰੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਰ, ਪੁਲ, ਸੜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਵਹਿ ਗਏ।
ਆਰਮੀ, ਏਅਰਫੋਰਸ, NDRF, SDRF, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਗ ਸਕੁਐਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਬਚਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਤੱਕ 1 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, 3 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਵਸੇਬਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੰਨੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ 225 ਜਵਾਨ ਵਾਇਨਾਡ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ 3 ਢਿੱਗਾਂ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੂਰਲਮਾਲਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਵਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਫੌਜ ਇੱਥੇ ਬਚਾਅ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸੜਕਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ, ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਨਜ਼ਾਰਾ ਹੈ। ਵਾਇਨਾਡ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਮਲਪੁਰਮ, ਕੋਝੀਕੋਡ, ਕੰਨੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਸਰਗੋਡ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਦਾ ਅਲਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਅੱਜ ਬਚਾਅ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਕਤਾਂ ਆ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਬਚਾਅ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਮੀਂਹ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਝੀਕੋਡ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤਣਾ ਪਿਆ।
ਕੇਰਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੂਬੇ ‘ਚ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੋਗ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। 12 ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 30 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ-ਕਾਲਜ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕੇਰਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨੇ 30 ਅਤੇ 31 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਮੁਲਤਵੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਨਵੀਆਂ ਤਰੀਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਿਸਕਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਵਾਇਨਾਡ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਕੇਰਲ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵੀਨਾ ਜਾਰਜ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ (31 ਜੁਲਾਈ) ਸਵੇਰੇ ਕਰੀਬ 7.30 ਵਜੇ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ‘ਚ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ, ਮੰਜੇਰੀ, ਮਲਪੁਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਸਕੂਟਰ ਸਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ।
