ਕੈਨੇਡਾ-ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਈ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਅਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤਤਾ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮਾਰਕ ਕਾਰਨੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰਤਾ ਘਟਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਵੀ ਵਪਾਰ ਲਈ ਰਾਹ ਤਲਾਸ਼ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਆਫ ਸਟੇਟ ਫਾਰ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਰਾਏ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਬਦਲ ਵੀ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਐਬਟਸਫੋਰਡ ਵਿਚ ਟੀ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਐਡੀਟਰ ਜਸਵੀਰ ਨਾਲ਼ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਰਾਏ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਲਈ ਅਗਲੇ 5 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ 50% ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ 10 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਡਬਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕੋ ਮੁਲਕ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਨਾ ਰਹੀਏ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਈਪਲਾਈਨ ਬਣਾ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਹੀ ਲੋਅਰ ਮੇਨਲੈਂਡ ‘ਚ ਪੋਰਟ ਡਬਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਡੈਲਟਾ ਦਾ ਪੋਰਟ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਡਬਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਸੋਚੋ ਇਥੋਂ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਰਾਏ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ, “ਮੈਸੀ ਟਨਲ ਵਾਸਤੇ $ 3.5 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਨੌਰਥ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਈਨਜ਼ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਘਰਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਨਵੈਂਟਰੀ ਬਾਇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਦਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਚਾਰਜੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅੱਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੀ ਸੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਸੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਆਸ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ-ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਤਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਕੰਸਟ੍ਰਕਸ਼ਨ ਮੁੜ੍ਹ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਵਧਾਅ ਸਕੀਏ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ ਤੇ ਇੰਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਬੈਲੈਂਸ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਅ ਸਕਾਂਗੇ।”
ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਰਾਏ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਮੁਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਆਰਟੀਫੀਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਤੇ ਡਾਟਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਲਈ ਮੈਟਾ ਨੇ $17 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਦੀ ਅਨਾਉਸਮੈਂਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਮੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਗਲਾ ਸਾਲ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਲਈ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
