Happy Birthday Rekha: ਜਦੋਂ ਰੇਖਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ’ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ‘ਬਿੱਗ ਬੀ’ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
Happy Birthday Rekha: ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ’ ਯਾਨੀ ਸਦਾਬਹਾਰ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਰੇਖਾ ਅੱਜ (10 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ) 68 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ, ਫਿਟਨੈੱਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਈਲ ਨਾਲ ਉਮਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਤ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਰੇਖਾ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਸੁਪਰਹਿੱਟ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਰੇਖਾ ਦਾ ਸਟਾਰਡਮ 70 ਅਤੇ 80 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ‘ਚ ਸਿਖਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੀ। ਪਰਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਗਲੈਮਰਸ, ਸਟੇਜ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਦੂ, ਅਸਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ‘ਚ ਰਹੱਸਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਰੇਖਾ ਬਾਲਾ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ‘ਚ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਹੈ। 1981 ‘ਚ ਮੁਜ਼ੱਫਰ ਅਲੀ ਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ’ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ‘ਇਨ ਆਂਖੋਂ ਕੀ ਮਸਤੀ ਕੇ…’ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦੀਵਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫੀ ਹੈ।
ਰੇਖਾ ਦਾ ਸਟਾਰਡਮ 70-80 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ
1970 ਅਤੇ 1980 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਦੋਂ ਰੇਖਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਖਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੀ, ਮੀਡੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਖਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ’ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਐਵਾਰਡ ਜਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਚ ਰੇਖਾ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਗਾਸਟਾਰ ਅਮਿਤਾਭ ਬੱਚਨ ਦੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਸੀ। ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਖਾ ਦੇ ਡਾਂਸ ਮੂਵਜ਼, ਡਾਇਲਾਗਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਾਲ-ਚਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ’ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਮੁਜ਼ੱਫਰ ਅਲੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਉਮਰਾਓ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੀਤ ਤੋਂ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਰੱਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਰੇਖਾ ਦੀ ਖਾਸੀਅਤ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਤੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਦ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੱਕ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਹੈ। ਮੁਜ਼ੱਫਰ ਅਲੀ ਨੇ ਰੇਖਾ ਦੇ ਅਮਿਤਾਭ ਬੱਚਨ ਨਾਲ ਕਥਿਤ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
‘ਪੂਰਾ ਕਸੂਰ ਅਮਿਤਾਭ ਦਾ’
ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਚਲਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਬਣ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਮਿਤਾਭ ਦਾ ਕਸੂਰ ਹੈ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ‘ਚ ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੈੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਬੈਠਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਹੈ।’ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ’ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਰੇਖਾ ਦੀ ਅਸਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦੀ-ਜੁਲਦੀ ਸੀ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਮਰਾਓ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਰੂਕ ਸ਼ੇਖ ਦੇ ਨਵਾਬ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਨਵਾਬ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਉਮਰਾਓ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੇਖਾ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ’ ਹੈ
1986 ‘ਚ ਬੀਬੀਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ‘ਚ ਰੇਖਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ’ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ‘ਫਿਲਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇਹ ਹੁਣੇ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਨਾ ਸੀ. ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ‘ਚ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਦੌਰ ‘ਚੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਝਲਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।” ਰੇਖਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ‘ਉਮਰਾਓ ਜਾਨ’ ਲਈ ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਈ ਸੀ। “ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਉਰਦੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ,” ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ।
