ਰਾਂਚੀ: ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਖਰ ਧਵਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਖਿਲਾਫ 7 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਆਲ ਰਾਊਂਡਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ 279 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੀਚੇ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਅਸ ਅਈਅਰ (ਅਜੇਤੂ 113) ਦੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਿਸ਼ਨ (93) ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੀਜੇ ਵਿਕਟ ਲਈ 161 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਬਦੌਲਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਈ 1-1 ਨਾਲ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ। .
ਕਪਤਾਨ ਧਵਨ ਨੇ ਮੈਚ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਕੇਸ਼ਵ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਟਾਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਟੌਸ ਵਧੀਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ। ਕੇਸ਼ਵ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਈਸ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਅਸ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇਖਣ ਯੋਗ ਸੀ।
ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਕਾਰਨ ਗੇਂਦ ਫਿਸਲਣ ਲੱਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਕਫੁੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਖੇਡਣਾ ਆਸਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ : ਧਵਨ
ਕਪਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਬੱਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਗੇਂਦ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਘੱਟ ਰਹੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਪਹਿਲੇ 10 ਓਵਰਾਂ ‘ਚ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਰੁਖ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ, ਗੇਂਦ ਫਿਸਲ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬੈਕ ਫੁੱਟ ‘ਤੇ ਖੇਡਣਾ ਆਸਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਖਾਸਕਰ ਸ਼ਾਹਬਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ 10 ਓਵਰਾਂ ‘ਚ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਦਿਵਾਈ।” ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ‘ਚ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸਿਰਾਜ (38 ਦੌੜਾਂ ‘ਤੇ 3 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ), ਸ਼ਾਹਬਾਜ਼ ਅਹਿਮਦ (54 ਦੌੜਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਕਟ), ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਯਾਦਵ (49 ਦੌੜਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਕਟ) ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। .

ਅਫਰੀਕੀ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਕੇਸ਼ਵ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਮੀਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਇੰਨਾ ਫਰਕ ਲਿਆਵੇਗੀ। “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤ੍ਰੇਲ ਇੰਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਟਾਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਅਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਜੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਮੀਦ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪਿੱਚ ਹੌਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ 20 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਿੱਚ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼: ਅਈਅਰ
ਅਈਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਬਾਦ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਨ ਆਫ ਦਾ ਮੈਚ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਈਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਈਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਰੁਖ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮਾਨਸਿਕਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਮੈਰਿਟ ‘ਤੇ ਗੇਂਦ ਖੇਡਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
