ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਕੇਐੱਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੋ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ‘ਚ ਵੰਡੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਕ ਕੈਂਪ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖਰਾਬ ਫਾਰਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਟੀਮ ਵਿਚ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਠਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਵੈਂਕਟੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ ਨੇ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੇ ਟੀਮ ‘ਚ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੇਐੱਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਟੀਮ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ਾ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਸੀ, ਫਿਰ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਆਕਾਸ਼ਵਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਕੇਐਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਣ ‘ਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚੋਣਕਾਰ, ਕਪਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਚ ਇਸ ਓਪਨਿੰਗ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਇੰਨਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਦਿਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸਨੇ ਸੇਨਾ (ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ, ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ, ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ) ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਲੀਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ‘ਸੇਨਾ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ, ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚੋਣਕਾਰ/ਕੋਚ/ਕਪਤਾਨ ਕੇਐੱਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਧਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਦੋ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚ (ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਬਾਰਡਰ-ਗਾਵਸਕਰ) ਖੇਡੇ ਹਨ।
ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ESPNcricinfo ਤੋਂ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨਸ਼ੌਟ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਫਰਵਰੀ 2020 ਤੋਂ 20 ਫਰਵਰੀ 2023 ਤੱਕ ਸੇਨਾ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਔਸਤ 38.64 ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ‘ਚ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੰਬਰ ‘ਤੇ ਰਹੇ ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ 1 ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 42 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 84 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਏ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਿਣਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਵੀਡੀਓ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ, ‘ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ‘ਚ ਚੋਣਕਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂਟਰ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।ਚੋਪੜਾ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਂਕਟੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ ਦੀ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਵੈਂਕਟੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਟੈਸਟ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਐਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਔਸਤ 33.44 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 47 ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ ਸਿਰਫ 2642 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਧਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਖੇਡੇ ਗਏ 31 ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚਾਂ ‘ਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਔਸਤ 30.7 ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ 1719 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਘਰੇਲੂ ਮੈਦਾਨਾਂ ‘ਤੇ 40 ਦੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲ 923 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
