‘ਇਹ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।’ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 2022-23 ਤੋਂ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਜੋ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹਨ ਇੱਕ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ 50 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਲੇਇੰਗ ਇਲੈਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮੈਚ 30 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਨ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 75 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮੈਚ 45 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੈਸਟ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਜਾਂ ਚਿੱਟੀ ਗੇਂਦ ਦੇ ਫਾਰਮੈਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਟੀਮ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਓਨੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਫਾਰਮੈਟ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਬੀਸੀਸੀਆਈ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਟੈਸਟ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ।
