ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ- ਲੋਹੜੀ ਟੱਪਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚ ਠੰਢ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਹਤ ਵੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ । ਹਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ ਦੁਬਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ । ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਠਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅੱਠਵੀਂ ਤੱਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਮਾਤਾਂ ਲਈ 21 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ 9ਵੀਂ ਤੋਂ 12ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲਣਗੇ। ਸਕੂਲ ਨੌਂ ਵਜੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇਗਾ। ਠੰਢ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਠਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ 21 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ 9ਵੀਂ ਤੋਂ 12ਵੀਂ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਅੱਠਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਚਾਈਲਡ ਮੈਪਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਰਵੇ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਠੰਢ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ 14 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਠਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ 14 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਧੁੰਦ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਸਾਫ਼ ਰਹਿਣ ਅਤੇ ਧੁੱਪ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 17 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 7 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਲਕੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਆਮ ਸੀਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 9.2 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
