World Tourism Day 2023: ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਦਿਵਸ 2023 ਹਰ ਸਾਲ 27 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਹੈ। ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੱਖਾਂ-ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਟ ਭਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਿਅਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਝਟਕਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਢਹਿ ਗਈ। ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਫੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਘਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਦਿਵਸ 1980 ਤੋਂ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। 27 ਸਤੰਬਰ 1970 ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਅਪਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਇਹ ਤਾਰੀਖ ਉਸ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ UNWTO ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ, ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ, ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਪਿਛਲੇ 43 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਦਿਵਸ 2023 ਦਾ ਥੀਮ “ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਲੀ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼” ਹੈ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ, ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ, ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮੁੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਦਾ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਸਾਊਦੀ ਅਰਬ ਹੈ।
