ਡਲ ਝੀਲ
ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ‘ਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਡਲ ਝੀਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਡਲ ਝੀਲ ਲਗਭਗ 18 ਵਰਗ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਲਗਭਗ 3.5 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ 20 ਫੁੱਟ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਬੋਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਲ ਝੀਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੰਮ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਦਾਲ’ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਝੀਲ ਵੀ ਜੋੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।ਡਲ ਝੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਹਿਣਾ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਨਗਰ ਦਾ ਗਹਿਣਾ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੂਪਕੁੰਡ ਝੀਲ, ਉੱਤਰਾਖੰਡ
ਰੂਪਕੁੰਡ ਝੀਲ ਉੱਤਰਾਖੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਰਹੱਸਮਈ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ “ਕੰਕਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ” ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਇਧਰ-ਉਧਰ ਬਰਫ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਬੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ 1942 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਫਾਰੈਸਟ ਰੇਂਜਰ ਨੇ ਗਸ਼ਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਝੀਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਲ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ 15,000 ਫੁੱਟ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਬਰਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਢਕੇ ਹਿਮਾਲਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ।
ਚੰਦਰਤਾਲ ਝੀਲ
ਚੰਦਰਤਾਲ ਝੀਲ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਝੀਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਲ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ 4,300 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਝੀਲਾਂ ‘ਚ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਝੀਲਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਦਰਤਾਲ ਝੀਲ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਆਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਚੰਦਰਕਰ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵੱਸੀ ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਦੇਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੇਲਾ ਝੀਲ, ਅਰੁਣਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼
ਸੇਲਾ ਝੀਲ ਅਰੁਣਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਝੀਲ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਝੀਲ 101 ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬੋਧੀ ਝੀਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਝੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਤ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
