ਅਨਿਰੁਧ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ PAU ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ
ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਕ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ (ਵਿਕਾਸ) ਅਤੇ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਅਨਿਰੁਧ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ । ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ । ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ, ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ । ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਈ । ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੀਆਂ ਖੋਜ, ਪਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਦੇ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖੇ । ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਾਪਸ ਖੇਤੀ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਖੇਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਹਨ। ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਹਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਲਈ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਾਏ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੂਜੀ ਹਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵੀ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਬਣਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਜਦਕਿ ਦੂਜੀ ਹਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ੇਯੋਗ ਧੰਦਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਬਿਹਤਰੀ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ । ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਨੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਖੋਜਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਨਿਯਮਿਤ ਖੇਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ । ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੁੱਕਵੇਂ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ । ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਦਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਵਿਭਿੰਨਤਾ ਵੱਲ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਣਕ-ਝੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਫਸਲੀ ਚੱਕਰ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਬਦਲ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਸੈਸਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਜ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ । ਖੇਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ । ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨਿਰੁਧ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਉੱਪਰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਥਾਹ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ । ਕਿਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਰਾਹ ਦੱਸਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਹੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਦੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਪਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ।ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਖੋਜ ਡਾ. ਨਵਤੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਖੋਜ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ।
