ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ: ਈਡਨ ਗਾਰਡਨ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਮੈਦਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਟੀ-20 ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਦਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਨੇ 262 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਟੀਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਇਹ ਹੁਣ ਟੀ-20 ਫਾਰਮੈਟ ‘ਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸਫਲ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਨਾਈਟ ਰਾਈਡਰਜ਼ (ਕੇਕੇਆਰ) ਨੇ 261 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 8 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ 8 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤੋੜ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਬਣੇ
ਹੁਣ ਜੇਕਰ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਛੱਕੇ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਅੰਕੜਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਈਡਨ ਗਾਰਡਨ ‘ਤੇ ਕੁੱਲ 24 ਛੱਕੇ ਲਗਾਏ। ਇਸ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ‘ਚ ਸਨਰਾਈਜ਼ਰਜ਼ ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਨੇ ਰਾਇਲ ਚੈਲੰਜਰਜ਼ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ 22 ਛੱਕੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਅਗਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
