ਡੈਸਕ- ਸੁਲਤਾਨਪੁਰ ਲੋਧੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਰਾਜਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪੁੱਛ-ਪੜਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਦੀਪ ਦੇ ਸੱਸ ਤੇ ਸਹੁਰੇ ਨੇ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਗਲਾ ਘੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੁਲਤਾਨਪੁਰ ਲੋਧੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ’ਤੇ ਲਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੁੱਛ-ਪੜਤਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸ ਸਚਾਈ ਦਾ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੋਖੇਵਾਲ (ਜਲੰਧਰ) ਦੀ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਯੂਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਰਾਜਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ (30) ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ 7 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਨਾਨੋ ਮੱਲੀਆਂ (ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ) ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਤੇ ਜਵਾਈ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ।
ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਧੀ 12 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ 5 ਸਾਲਾ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਹੁਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਆਹ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 19 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਈ ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਫੋਨ ’ਤੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਦੀਪ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਖਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਧੀ ਦੇ ਸਹੁਰੇ ਘਰ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਜਿਥੇ ਰਾਜਦੀਪ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਹੁਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਈ ਰਾਜਦੀਪ ’ਤੇ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਦਬਾਅ ਪਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਥੇ ਗਰੀਨ ਕਾਰਡ ਹੋਲਡਰ ਬਣ ਸਕੇ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਈ, ਸਹੁਰਾ ਜਗਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਸੱਸ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਤਹਿਤ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ, ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਫੋਨ ਵਾਪਸ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਹੁਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਬਣਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸੁਲਤਾਨਪੁਰ ਲੋਧੀ ਦੇ ਡੀਐਸਪੀ ਬਬਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੱਸ ਤੇ ਸਹੁਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗਲਾ ਘੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਕਤਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
