ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਬਨਣਗੇ ‘ਸਮਾਰਟ’, ਪੀ.ਐੱਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇਣਗੇ 4762 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ
ਡੈਸਕ- 6 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਦੇ 500 ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ‘ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਯੋਜਨਾ’ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 22 ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਟੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਬਨਵਾਰੀਲਾਲ ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਲਈ 5000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 22 ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਦੇ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਆਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਮਿਲਣਗੀਆਂ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 22 ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਲਈ 4762 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ 436 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਦੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਲਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਜੀਵਨ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ, ਸਰਕੂਲੇਟਿੰਗ ਏਰੀਆ, ਵੇਟਿੰਗ ਹਾਲ, ਪਖਾਨੇ, ਲਿਫਟ/ਐਸਕੇਲੇਟਰ, ਲੋੜ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ, ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਵਾਈ-ਫਾਈ, ਕਿਓਸਕ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਪਲਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਤਪਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ‘ਇੱਕ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਇੱਕ ਉਤਪਾਦ’, ਬਿਹਤਰ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ, ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਲੌਂਜ, ਵਪਾਰਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ, ਲੈਂਡਸਕੇਪਿੰਗ ਆਦਿ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
