ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਮਤਭੇਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਕ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦਾ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦਾ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਉਥਲ -ਪੁਥਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਮੋੜ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਸੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਵਧਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਏ।
ਕੈਪਟਨ ਦੇ ਅਸਤੀਫੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਦਲਿਤ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਨੀ ਲਈ ਅਪਮਾਨਜਨਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਵੇਖੇ ਗਏ। ਜਿਸਦੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦਾ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਕੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਂ ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਟਿਕੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
