ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਾਈਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਈਕਰੋ-ਬਲੌਗਿੰਗ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਇੰਕ ਦੇ ਚੀਫ ਕੰਪਲਾਇੰਸ ਆਫਿਸ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ’ ਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਨੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਆਈਟੀ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ 2021 ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਜਸਟਿਸ ਰੇਖਾ ਪੱਲੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਸੀਓ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਲਫਨਾਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸੀਸੀਓ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਲਫਨਾਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ. ਨਿਯਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ. ”
