ਡੈਸਕ- ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਭਦੌੜ ਵਿਖੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਭਦੌੜ ਦੇ ਜੰਪਲ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਸਟੇਟ ਸਸਕੈਚਵਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸੈਸਕਾਟੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੈਸਕਾਟੂਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿਊ ਡੈਮੋਕਰੈਟਿਵ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ 3635 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ 1130 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੇਤੂ ਰਹੇ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ 2 ਵਾਰ ਚੋਣ ਲੜ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਅਸਫਲ ਰਹੇ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿੱਤ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਭਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਰਾ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਵ. ਤੀਰਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਤੇ ਝਾਤ ਪਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ 1947 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਿਤਾ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ 2002 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਜਨਵਰੀ 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਦੇ ਗਏ।
ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਤਿੰਨ ਭੈਣ-ਭਰਾ ਹਨ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੈਣ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਵ. ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੰਡਿਆਇਆ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਡ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੋ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਬ੍ਰਮਟੈਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੋਲ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਵੱਡੇ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਦੌੜ 36 ਸਾਲ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਬਤੋਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਭਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਤਰਕਸੀਲ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀਐਚਡੀ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 1993-1999 ਤੱਕ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ 6 ਸਾਲ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਜੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ 1999 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਵਤੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਮੋਹ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਭਦੌੜ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਝਾਤ ਪਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ 2002 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਰਥਿਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੀਐਮਸੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਬਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਪਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਭਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਲੱਡੂ ਵੰਡ ਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਜਾਹਿਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਦੌੜ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਵਿਪਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਬਣਨ ਤੇ ਮੁਬਾਰਕਬਾਦ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
