ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਪੜ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਚ ਵੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਪਾਣੀ, ਸਤਲੁਜ ਦਰਿਆ ਨੇ ਡੁਬੋਏ ਕਈ ਪਿੰਡ
ਡੈਸਕ- ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸਤਲੁਜ ਦਰਿਆ ‘ਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਡੈਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਆਸ ਦਰਿਆ ‘ਤੇ ਪੌਂਗ ਡੈਮ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਕਰੀਬ 35 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਦੇ ਫਲੱਡ ਗੇਟ 10 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਉੱਧਰ, ਪੌਂਗ ਡੈਮ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਖੜਾ ਡੈਮ ਦੇ ਫਲੱਡ ਗੇਟ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 12 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ 1678 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਫਲੱਡ ਗੇਟ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 1 ਫੁੱਟ ਘੱਟ ਕੇ 1677 ਫੁੱਟ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਤ ਕਰੀਬ 9 ਵਜੇ ਫਲੱਡ ਗੇਟ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਰੂਪ ਨਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਪੜ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਘਟਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਬੈਂਸ ਖੁਦ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁੱਜੇ। ਪਿੰਡ ਬੇਲਾ ਧਿਆਨੀ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਘੱਟਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਹਰਸਾ ਬੇਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਮਾੜੀ ਹੈ। ਸਥਿਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ NDRF, ਫੌਜ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ 1678 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 2 ਫੁੱਟ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੀ। ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੁਣ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਡੈਮ ਦੇ ਫਲੱਡ ਗੇਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਫੁੱਟ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗੇਟ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ 1988 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਗੇਟ 4 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਡੈਮ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਥੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਬਲ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਬੀਬੀਐਮਬੀ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੌਂਗ ਡੈਮ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਕਰੀਬ 1.50 ਲੱਖ ਕਿਊਸਿਕ ਪਾਣੀ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਪੌਂਗ ਡੈਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ 1400 ਫੁੱਟ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 1,14,785 ਕਿਊਸਿਕ ਪਾਣੀ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਰਬਾਈਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 17312 ਕਿਊਸਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਫਲੱਡ ਗੇਟ ਰਾਹੀਂ 1,25,473 ਕਿਊਸਿਕ ਪਾਣੀ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
