Amjad Khan Death Anniversary: ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ੋਲੇ ਦੇ ਗੱਬਰ ਯਾਨੀ ਅਮਜਦ ਖਾਨ ਦੀ 30ਵੀਂ ਬਰਸੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦਾ ਜਨਮ 12 ਨਵੰਬਰ 1940 ਨੂੰ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਸ਼ਤੂਨ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗੱਬਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਤਨੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਥੇ, ਤੇਰਾ ਕਯਾ ਹੋਗਾ ਕਾਲੀਆ, ਸੋ ਜਾ ਬੇਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਗੱਬਰ ਆ ਜਾਏਗਾ, ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਸ਼ੋਲੇ’ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਡਾਇਲਾਗ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਓਨੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੱਲਤ ਹਨ, ਜਿੰਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਗੱਬਰ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਮਜਦ ਖਾਨ। ਰੋਲ, ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹੈ।ਰੋਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਮਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਗਏ 30 ਸਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਗੱਬਰ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। 27 ਜੁਲਾਈ 1992 ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਪੈਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਆਓ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਸ ਗੱਲਾਂ।
ਬਾਲ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ
ਅਮਜਦ ਖਾਨ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 12 ਨਵੰਬਰ 1940 ਨੂੰ ਬੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜ਼ਕਰੀਆ ਖਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਾ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਪਰਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਜਯੰਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਅਮਜਦ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਬਾਂਦਰਾ ਦੇ ਸੇਂਟ ਐਂਡਰਿਊਜ਼ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਅਮਜਦ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਸਾਲ 1951 ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਾਜ਼ਨੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਲ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਸ਼ੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਮਿਲੀ
ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਮਜਦ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਦਾਸ ਰਹੇਗੀ? ਉਹ ਵੀ ਉਦੋਂ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮ ਸ਼ੋਲੇ ਮਿਲੀ। ਇਹ 1975 ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਫਿਲਮ ਸ਼ੋਲੇ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਨੇ ਅਮਜਦ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਤੋ-ਰਾਤ ਸਟਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਚ ਅਮਜਦ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਡਾਇਲਾਗ ਇੰਨਾ ਹਿੱਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਲਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਅਮਜਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ‘ਚ ਲਗਭਗ 132 ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਅਮਜਦ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਲਦਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੋਲੇ ਦੇ ਗੱਬਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਰ ਕਾ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਲਾਵਰ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਇੱਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ
ਅਮਜਦ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਬੁਰਾ ਦੌਰ ਉਦੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਅਮਜਦ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੇਟ ਗੈਂਬਲਰ’ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਗੋਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਖੁੰਝ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਟਰੱਕ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਟੱਕਰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਹ ਟੱਕਰ ਇੰਨੀ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ‘ਚ ਅਮਜਦ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈਆਂ। ਇਲਾਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਮਜਦ ਕੋਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵ੍ਹੀਲਚੇਅਰ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਪਿਆ। ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਮਜਦ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਧਣ ਲੱਗਾ। ਫਿਰ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਪੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਮਜਦ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਸਿਰਫ 47 ਸਾਲ ਸੀ।
