ਜਲੰਧਰ : ਜਲੰਧਰ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਬੇਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਟਰੱਸਟ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਰਯਾ ਇਨਕਲੇਵ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ 188.13 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬੇਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸ. ਆਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੂਰਯਾ ਇਨਕਲੇਵ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੱਕ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬੇਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਬੋਰਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਥੇ 42 ਇੰਚ ਸਾਈਜ਼ ਦੀ 750 ਮੀਟਰ ਲੰਬੀ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨ ਪਾਈ ਜਾਣੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਤੇ ਕਰੀਬ 188.13 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਲਾਗਤ ਆਵੇਗੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ 6 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨ ਪੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਓਵਰਫਲੋ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਜਾਤ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬੇਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਪੱਧਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਸੁਹਿਰਦ ਯਤਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਹਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਲਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਿਥੇ ਦੋ ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਕੁਨੈਕਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ 3 ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਯੁਨਿਟ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਜ਼ਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸੁਹਿਰਦ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਸਮਾਂ-ਸੀਮਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨਗਰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਟਰੱਸਟ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ, ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਯਾ ਇਨਕਲੇਵ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਕਰੀਬ ਦੋ-ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਦੀ ਲਾਈਨ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਓਵਰਫਲੋਅ/ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਜਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਲਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਛਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਓਵਰ ਫਲੋਅ ਤੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਜਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
