ਮੁੰਬਈ : ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਜਨਾਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ‘ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾਪਟਨਮ’ ਨੂੰ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਚੀਨ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਸਾਧਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ‘ਕੁਝ ਗੈਰ-ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ’ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੌੜੇ ਪੱਖਪਾਤੀ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ UNCLOS ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਨਮਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਗੈਰ-ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਖੌਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੌੜੇ ਪੱਖਪਾਤੀ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਗਲਤ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਟੀਲਥ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ, ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਗਾਈਡਡ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਈਲ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕ ‘ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾਪਟਨਮ’ ਕਈ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਈਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਐਂਟੀ-ਸਬਮਰੀਨ ਰਾਕੇਟ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਕਮਾਂਡਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾਪਟਨਮ ਘਾਤਕ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਸਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਤ੍ਹਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਤ੍ਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਤ੍ਹਾ ਤੋਂ ਹਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਈਲਾਂ, ਮੱਧਮ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੰਦੂਕਾਂ, ਪਣਡੁੱਬੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਰਾਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ 35,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ 15ਬੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੁੱਲ ਚਾਰ ਜੰਗੀ ਬੇੜੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਆਈਐਨਐਸ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾਪਟਨਮ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਬਣੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਜੰਗੀ ਜਹਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਜ਼ਾਗਨ ਡਾਕਯਾਰਡ ਲਿਮਿਟੇਡ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਇਕ ਗਾਈਡਡ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਈਲ ਡਿਸਟ੍ਰਾਇਰ ਹੈ।
