ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ – ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਗਏ ਗਾਜ਼ਿਆਬਾਦ ਦੇ 21 ਸਾਲਾ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਵਾਸੂਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ।ਘਟਨਾ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਸਬਵੇਅ ਸਟੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ੇਰਬਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਦੀ ਹੈ ।ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਪੰਜ ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਕੰਮ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਬਸ ਫੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਚਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਿਆਂ ।ਫਟੱੜ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਚ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵੀ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬੱਚ ਨਾ ਸਕਿਆ ।ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਪੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਕਸੀਕਨ ਰੈਸਟੋਰੈਂਟ ਚ ਪਾਰਟ ਟਾਈਮ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ।
ਮਿਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਵਾਸੂਦੇਵ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਸੇਨੇਕਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸੀ ।ਇਸ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਨਾਲ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੈ ।ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਘਟਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਛੇ ਫੁੱਟ ਲੰਮੇ ਕਾਲੇ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ।ਸਥਾਣਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸੀ.ਸੀ.ਟੀ.ਵੀ ਦੀ ਫੂਟੇਜ ਖੰਗਾਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ।ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ।
ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਿਤੇਸ਼ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੇਟਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਸਮਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ।ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਜ਼ਿਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ।ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੋਨ ‘ਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਵੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ।ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਆਖਿਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ।
